Intro
Les Prototypes de Geppetto revisits Pinocchio's creation through a duet between human and puppet, questioning humanity, existence and our relationship with living things.
Les Prototypes de Geppetto is a loose adaptation of the story of Pinocchio's birth. We enter the workshop, the mind and hands of the craftsman who brought the famous puppet to life. And we wonder with him: what was he trying to make? Where does humanity fit in? What does it mean to ‘exist’? It's a duet for a human and a puppet. Or for two humans. Or two puppets. Two beings who want to pay homage to the wood of our forests, and try to save something of the living.
The show ‘Les Prototypes de Geppetto’ is presented as part of the Culture on Tour project supported by the Local Council.
