Intro

With its extra-wide pistes Savognin is regarded as a carver’s paradise. One of this ski area’s most beautiful slopes starts at the summit of the Piz Martegnas. Without any flat sections, it takes you down to the village in one highly enjoyable sweep.

The 2,670-metre-high Piz Martegnas does not only afford stunning views, but is also a top-class skiing mountain. Its extensive treeless slopes are home to some unusually broad pistes. Here, carvers and snowboarders can enjoy carefree fun without getting in each other's way. By using either the cable car or the two chairlifts, you can quickly reach the summit from the village. The wonderfully long, moderately difficult descent takes you over Somtgant and Tigignas and down to the edge of the village.
