Intro
A huge playground and a wonderful leisure area have been created on the shores of the Trübsee under the banner “Smugglers & Muleteers”.
“Engelbert” the smuggler regularly has to take the difficult route from Engelberg via the Jochpass to the Engstlenalp with his mule “Schmuggli”. That’s the beginning of the story on which the new themed playground is based.
Opening times
The adventure trail and playground are open daily between May and October. The trail around the Trübsee is suitable for buggies and the hike takes about an hour.
Play equipment
Smuggler’s tower, treasure chests, rope bridges, sand boxes, tunnels and mazes and a Schmuggli net swing
Muleteers’ camp
Barbecue spots, areas with various surfaces and comfortable seating and lounging options
Adventure trail
The adventure trail requires a smuggler’s map. These are issued at the lower cable car station or at the Trübsee station. With the right answer children can win a great Schmuggli prize (one gift per smuggler’s map).
