Intro
Sikypark rescues native and exotic animals such as tigers, wolves, lynx or parrots and gives them a home. Experience a day out for the whole family with playtimes with animals, picnic tables, a restaurant and the Siky Express.
The Sikypark in Crémines (BE) is home to more than 850 animals from over 120 species on an area of 50,000 square metres. The zoo team uses daily play and activity sessions to inform visitors about the capabilities of the various animals and birds that live in the zoo. In the summer the birds of prey are allowed to fly freely in the park.
There is so much for both young and old to discover in the animal rescue park. An exploration trail instructs as it guides explorers through the wild animal section. Sikypark is also the only Swiss zoo boasting a white lion and white tigers. The walk-in aviary for large parrots is the largest of its kind in Switzerland.
How to find us:
Sikypark is only an hour’s drive from Basel, Bern, Lucerne and Zurich on the Moutier-Balsthal road. Trains on the Moutier-Solothurn line stop at the "Crémines Zoo” station.
- The animal rescue park is open all year round: opening hours in winter are from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and in the summer from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
- The admission price includes the daily programme with informative talks on animals, flight training (summer week-ends), flight demonstrations (summer), a “tiger school” among the white tigers and feeding time for the predators.
- A playground, Luna Park, pony rides and a trip through the park on the Siky Express ensure that there is plenty of variety for even the smallest visitors.
- A selection of food and refreshments are available in the self-service restaurant which is open every day.
