Zermatt Summer Snow Park
Overview
Intro
Zermatt Snow Park has something to appeal to every freestyler, regardless of whether they are a pro or a rookie. The creative setup with big chairs, kicker lines and rails promises action and spectacular and varied runs.
At 3,480 metres on the Theodul Glacier, shredding can continue during summer. Zermatt Summer Snow Park is one of the highest in the Alps and, thanks to its altitude and the glacier, offers impressive snow conditions, even in midsummer.
Zermatt Snow Park is open daily from July to mid-October and offers surprising new features every week. The snow park can be reached from Zermatt with the new Matterhorn glacier ride via Matterhorn glacier paradise (Klein Matterhorn). The Plateau Rosa 3 ski liftwill take you back up to the starting point after your runs, so no time is lost.
Over a length of 300 metres, freestylers can expect creative setups including kicker line, rails, a beginner’s line and other exciting obstacles for all levels, enabling them to show what they can do. From rookie to pro - even in summer there is the perfect line for everyone at Zermatt Snow Park. Sunshine and the unique panorama around the Matterhorn are an added bonus.
Between active sessions, Shred Coffee in the snow park is the perfect place to chill out with DJ sounds and lounge chairs. BBQ, cool drinks and coffee are served.
