Steamship adventure for the whole family
Overview
Intro
Take a ride on a nostalgic paddle steamer across Lake Lucerne with its beautiful landscape, marvel at villas and castles, discover culinary specialities or enjoy a hearty breakfast: the possibilities are endless when you embark from Lucerne.
38 kilometres of various routes, 34 ship landings and a beautiful landscape can be experienced on a boat trip on Lake Lucerne. The five restored paddle steamers Uri, Unterwalden, Schiller, Gallia and Stadt Luzern, all built between 1901 and 1928, form the world’s largest fleet of paddle steamers on an inland lake.
Points of interest and holiday resorts around the lake can be reached from Lucerne by hourly boat connections, for example to Flüelen, to Alpnachstad or on one of the round trips. There are also special trips such as with the fondue ship, the cake trip, Valentine’s Day, music or breakfast trips, as well as a short tour to the villas and castles of the bay of Lake Lucerne.
