Intro

Piste facilities in the family ski area at Oeschinensee are easy to operate and provide for leisurely skiing. Here, it’s not about the speed – just take a deep breath and enjoy. This valley descent past the frozen Oeschinensee lake to Kandersteg provides some delightful experiences in nature.

Part of the enjoyment on this relaxing descent at the wintry Oeschinensee lake is due to the magnificent scenery. The ski area borders on the UNESCO World Heritage Site Jungfrau-Aletsch, and offers an impressive view of the Blüemlisalp massif. From the cableway top station take a gentle descent to the Wittere ski lift and the broad icy surface of the Oeschinensee. Then follow a varied route through the Oeschiwald forest to Kandersteg.
