There is something very special in the mountains of Graubünden: the first canton’s zipline, on the Pradaschier Adventure Mountain in Churwalden!
The zipline lets you whizz safely down into the valley attached to a wire, reaching speeds of up to 110 kilometres per hour. The 1,739-metre trip takes just under two minutes, descending a total of 470 metres. A gentle start gives way to a gradient of 29%, creating a sensation of freefalling – almost like flying. The zipline is all about nerve-jangling adventure, lasting memories and adrenaline thrills – to the highest standards of safety.
The technical infrastructure in place enables visitors to ride the zipline in summer and winter (weather-dependent). You can walk to the starting point or take the easier option of the four-seater chair lift.

Getting there:
Churwalden is the gateway to the Lenzerheide holiday region and is located at 1,229 metres above sea level. Pradaschier Adventure Mountain is just 25 minutes from Chur by Graubünden PostBus. For drivers, there is a large car park near the chair lift.
