Combining city life with a trip up the mountains is easy. The next train, boat or bus to the nearest mountain goes within half an hour. You decide for yourself whether you want to take an easier hike or a high-alpine trail run, a relaxing bike ride among vineyards or a hard core ride in the mountains on MTB or why not an electric MTB - just as challenging but you get higher and further.
When you visit Switzerland, take advantage of the luxury of variety, take the train and explore. Try the locally produced cuisine. Visit local cheese makers, pasta producers, rice growers and winemakers. Products you may not even know exist.
