Pain therapy
Pain - especially chronic pain - has an enormous impact on our quality of life. The term pain therapy covers all measures taken to relieve pain.
Treatment is always focused on the individual’s needs and takes a multi-modal approach. Patients receive interdisciplinary input: mental and psychosomatic aspects are also included. In addition to treatment with medicines (analgesics), there are a number of other options available from physiotherapy and acupuncture, nerve stimulation and bio-feedback through to relaxation and behavioural therapies.
