Intro

Our courses span across 10 school levels, starting at the “Grande maternelle” and ending with the “Brevet des collèges”. The curriculum is fully accredited by the French Ministry of Education and is internationally recognized.

Small classes and an innovative teaching framework enable us to meet each child at his or her developmental level and to closely monitor its progress. The programme is also very popular among non-French speaking students who wish to study a year abroad and learn a new language. Selected sport and culturalactivities are offered every day after class and during weekends.

Chantemerle offers 3 programmes:

  1. Academic school year (September to June).

  2. “Full immersion” programme in French
    (3 months minimum, September to June).
  3. Summer camps
    (2 to 7 weeks in July and August).



Chantemerle is an international private boarding school for boys and girls ages 5 to 16. The school is beautifully located in the Swiss Alps, overlooking Lake Geneva. Each year, Chantemerle welcomes 60 boarding and day school students who wish to be exposed to the French culture and to benefit from the school’s outstanding reputation.
