In order for tourism to be experienced as an enrichment in the long term, there needs to be good cooperation between guests and the local population. This is exactly where "Travel with care. Leave with memories." The multi-year national initiative is jointly supported by the Swiss tourism industry. With simple, positively formulated recommendations, it raises awareness of a respectful approach to nature, people and local customs.
The embassies accompany guests on their journey – from planning to their stay on site. At the same time, the initiative supports destinations and tourism businesses in promoting exchange between guests and locals. In this way, it contributes to tourism that connects and is remembered positively.
