Atelier de découpage au ciseau
Overview
Intro
Under the guidance of a renowned glass artist, we invite you to discover this ancestral art and learn about its history.
The art of paper cutting is deeply rooted in the traditions of the Pays-d'Enhaut. Among the pioneers, Jean-Jacques Hauswirth and Louis Saugy were from the region. Since then, the art of paper cutting has been perpetuated by young artists who are evolving it by cutting not only alpine scenes, but also more exotic landscapes, animals, or objects. Under the guidance of a paper cutter, we invite you to discover this ancestral art and its history. Then, armed with scissors, try your hand at paper cutting and take home your first creation.
