Who wouldn't want to experience the roaring of the stag at least once in their life? We give you the chance to do so during this weekend. You will discover the biology and habits of the stag. The Aletsch forest, adorned in its autumnal splendor, echoes with deep bellows; the stags vie for the favor of the females. It's no surprise then that the rut is not always peaceful. During a hike through the Aletsch forest and a dawn tracking session, we will set out in search of the king of the forest. We will learn about this animal and, with a bit of luck, may observe it roaring. Participants are expected at the center between 1:00 PM and 1:45 PM on Saturday. After a welcome speech, we will embark on a several-hour hike through the Aletsch forest, where we will discover the habitat of the red deer. On Sunday at dawn, we will set out to listen to the stag's roar. With a bit of luck, we may observe rutting stags. The weekend will conclude around 10:00 AM, after breakfast. Participants A must for all animal lovers (children from 7 years old). Led by Nathan Rudin, environmental science engineer Accommodation and Prices Rooms with 2 or 3 beds as well as rooms with 4 or 6 beds (bunk beds). 2/3-bed room: CHF 200.- 4/6-bed room: CHF 178.- For children (7 to 16 years): 50% Luggage As there is no possibility of transporting luggage during the weekends, we recommend bringing a comfortable backpack.
