The Bären has a history of great hospitality for all that dates back over 180 years. Thanks to its central location, it can be used as a base to explore the whole of Switzerland. The hotel’s own WohnBar is a place where locals reward themselves with an end-of-the-day drink, and for politicians it’s conveniently near the Parliament House. The rooms are tastefully furnished and are quiet despite the central location. Getting there

The Hotel Bären am Bundesplatz does not have its own parking spaces. We recommend our guests to use the nearby public car park at the casino. 24h costs CHF 28.00. You can drop off luggage outside the hotel and we will be happy to give you directions to the Casino car park. Bern can be reached by train from Zurich, Basel or Lucerne within an hour (SBB timetable). In Berne, public transport is the most convenient and quickest way to get from A to B.
