By car: Take Vallemaggia - motorway A2 via S. Gottardo or A13 via S. Bernadino, exit Bellinzona South towards Locarno and exit Losone. In Ponte Brolla straight ahead until Gordevio (5km), 500m up after the tunnel Torbeccio, before the sign Gordevio right the road, at the historic church over, after 50 m on the left side of Casa Ambica with the area reserved for guests parking. By train to Locarno, from where a bus line No. 315 runs every hour into the Maggia Valley, get off the main road, down the valley run to the post office and the signs uphill Casa Ambica follow (about 10 minutes).
