Intro

The magnificent Palazzo was built in the mid-18th century. Following a gentle renovation and a modern extension, this extraordinary historic hotel now offers five rooms for true rest and relaxation. In-house whirlpool, sauna and massage treatments. The village of Comologno was once a meeting point of many artists such as Max Ernst and Elias Canetti. It is idyllically located in the Onsernone Valley above Locarno. Ideal for hiking and mountaineering. The hotel is managed by an innovative and dedicated team.

Overview

Bought in 1996 by the Patriziato di Comologno, it has been restored with the greatest care to its original splendor. The historical wing has kept all period furniture and tools, both in the bedrooms and in the kitchen where you can start your days with a rich, delicious breakfast. Dinner will be served in our Osteria Al Palazign, only a few steps from the Hotel, where you will enjoy traditional dishes of Ticino cuisine. The whole region offers the possibility of wonderful excursions, after which you can relax in our "wellness area", with sauna and whirlpool.

The Lombardian mansion with French style elements is a proud jewel situated in the village of Comologno at the end of the Onsernone Valley. The palazzo was faithfully renovated and endowed with 5 charming rooms, two of which feature historic furniture. Breakfast is served in the antique lounges. Ticino specialties are available at the Osteria next door.
