Intro
Located at 2,482 meters on a large grass terrace at the foot of the Kistenstöckli. The idyllic stone house was built in 1928 and has preserved its original character.
It is reached from Brigels or Linthal (1 hour 30 minutes to 4 hours). There are 24 beds. It is open all year and catered from July to September. During this time reservations with half board are accepted, at other times a cooking facility is available.
The Kronenwanderung in the Surselva region is an impressive and sometimes challenging circular hike from hut to hut in Graubünden. It connects the seven mountain huts in Surselva – the anterior Rhine valley between Flims and the Rhine source, on the Oberalp Pass, including the valley communities of Vals, Lumnezia and Medel.
