The inspiring 350-year-old townhouse was extended in 2011 by well-known architect Luigi Snozzi to include a new building with eight double rooms. Large glass facades offer unobstructed views of the leafy surroundings. A poetic natural garden with many secluded spots for some peace and quiet. When the weather is nice, the specialty breakfast can be enjoyed on the paved terrace. The basin of the nearby Cascata del Salto makes for the perfect swimming spot. Just a 15-minute drive to Ascona and Locarno.

Casa Martinelli, former Sust and old customs house is located out of the village of Maggia, in the Maggia Valley on the old main road: Via Cantonale Vecchia 60 (Via Stradon 60) in 6673 Maggia / Ticino. It is the right, just below the old bridge. The car park entrance is located at the house just below the long stairs to the Church. From the bus station and in the direction of travel, starting directly at the roundabout turn right, at the end of the road (after about 100 meters) to the left and thus finds automatically the stately home Martinelli.
