The foundation stone for this beautiful house, in the middle of Radelfingen, was laid in 1739.
At that time it was built as a residential and farmhouse with a small restaurant.
Ernst Schmutz bought the house in 1956 and continued the business as restaurant and farmhouse.
His son Fredi Schmutz took over the business as a restaurant in 1972. The agricultural business was stopped.
From stables and the haystacks he built new toilet facilities, offices and on the first floor a big hall with a theatre stage.
He continued the business successfully for many years with restaurant, dance events and theatre performances.
As time and needs change, a new concept was developed in 2016.
Fredi Schmutz and Urs Moser founded the Radelfingergastro GmbH.
