The cozy, remote hut is located at 1,805 meters in the Hohgant-Seefeld nature reserve, on the border from Emmental to the Oberland, between Kemmeriboden and Habkern.
The charming wooden building can be reached on various routes taking between in 1 hour 30 minutes up to 4 hours. There are 24-30 dormitory beds. Reservations are mandatory. The hut does not have a warden, but beverages and a wood-burning stove are available. Poor mobile phone reception.
