Newly constructed in 1999, the hotel is ideally situated on a plateau at 1860 metres a.s.l. amidst a pristine landscape. The generously-sized twin rooms have been lovingly furnished with stone pine furniture and have a terrace that offers up spectacular views. Predominantly Graubünden specialities prepared using regional products are served in the restaurant and the 'Arven lounge'. The hotel is readily accessible by private car, post bus and – especially romantically – by horse-drawn carriage.

The surrounding area to the Hotel Walserhuus is so exquisitely beautiful, that even the hosts are repeatedly surprised by new facets they uncover. It's hardly surprising then that the Sertiger plateau has national cultural heritage protection. Impressively, the only valley to have three mountains, the Mittagshorn, Plattenflueh and Hochducan, at its end. The hotel is wonderfully situated, a little off the beaten track and yet quite close to the highest town in Europe, bustling Davos.
