Keeping traditions alive, the kitchen offers the ever-popular Piera ossobuco with polenta from the Bruzella mill, as well as braised beef and the high and low cheeses produced in the valley. Also from the slopes of Monte Generoso, you will be able to taste cheeses and Formaggelle a Km zero, without forgetting the local sausages to be enjoyed with the excellent bread made in the Valley and the wines of the Mendrisiotto. Simona and her staff will also have the pleasure of delighting your palate with recipes and seasonal and regional dishes using products that are always local.

The accommodations of the Albergo Diffuso del Monte Generoso are located in the village of Scudellate From the stations of Chiasso or Mendrisio you can choose to reach Scudellate by car, bicycle, on foot or by Postbus.
* To reach Scudellate by car, it is necessary to follow the signs that mark the Muggio Valley starting from Chiasso or Mendrisio and continue along the cantonal road that, after passing through the villages of the valley and more precisely Morbio Superiore/Caneggio/Bruzella/Cabbio/Muggio, reaches Scudellate.
Caution: the Cantonal road between Muggio and Scudellate is narrow; therefore, we recommend traveling with caution and a moderate-sized vehicle.
WE STRONGLY AVOID using the variant from Castel San Pietro in the direction of Monte, Casima and Cabbio (Caution: the GPS may suggest this variant, but it is highly discouraged)
