Attended huts

Sitting on the high plateau of the Sulsalp, above Isenfluh / Sulwald in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, the charming log cabin offers a sweeping view of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

The hut is named after Albert Heim, the Alpine explorer, geologist and glaciologist. He became an honorary member of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC).

The dramatic climb begins at the floor of the wild, unspoilt Ferret valley. Three-and-a-half bracing hours later, you arrive at the Cabane de l’A Neuve, a hut spectacularly located on a rocky spur among snow-capped peaks.

The cozy, small house is located at 2,503 meters above Lake Toma, the source of the Rhine. The hut is reached from the Oberalp Pass via Pazolastock or from Maighels in two to three hours.

Immediately above the bend of the Rhone near Martigny, between Ovronnaz and Morcles.

An Authentic Alpine Retreat in the Heart of Ticino

High up in the Baltschieder Valley, the view extends to the imposing Bietsch Horn and down to the Rhone Valley up to the Mischabel Group.

This stone hut, which is located at 1,718 meters, is surrounded by a forest. Besides the Capanna Nimi, there are a few other huts on this Alp.

The former Alpine farm house is located at 2,039 meters in Val d'Efra. It is open from mid-June to the end of October.

Down below is the Illiez Valley, beautifully situated near the small mountain lakes, below the rock walls of Haute Cime, with a view extending to Portes du Soleil.

After a 2-hour to 3 1/2-hour hike through the forest to the ridge you will find the hut on a clearing at 1,463 meters.
