Mountain guesthouse in the middle of nature, surrounded by meadows, pastures and forests
with a unique view of the Bernina mountain range and down to Valtellina. At our place on 1'800 metres above sea level you'll find an informal atmosphere in a fantastic landscape between culture, history and environment. Enjoy the warmth of the sun rays until the evening comes and get new energy in this endless silence. For your well-being and for a good sleep, our guesthouse was especially built of natural building materials such as wood or rock only. It's an ideal starting point for mountain hikes or excursions through valleys and to other mountain huts. Generous terrace and playground for young and old.

Take the train to Brusio. Post bus from Brusio to Viano. Please always book at least one hour in advance for each journey. From Viano it is about a 2 hour hike to San Romerio.
Alternatively (for a surcharge of CHF 10), the post bus also runs from Viano to the Piaz car park, from where you hike for approx. 20 minutes to Alp San Romerio.
By car:
from the north, just before the village of Brusio, turn left towards Viano (large signpost San Romerio) - from the south, after the village of Brusio, follow the road to Viano. After about 300 metres, drive up the mountain road to Viano. In Viano, drive around the village and continue following the yellow signs to the car park in Piaz. Shortly after Viano until Piaz it is a natural road. Free parking in Piaz, in front of the barrier for about 20 cars. From there, walk for about 30 minutes to Alpe San Romerio.
