Intro

Boating on the river Le Doubs, skipping stones or a game of soccer on the large playing field - Joshua experiences all of this with his brother Lou and their parents at the Centre de vacances de Tariche camping site in the Jura. Swiss Family Hotels & Lodgings offer everything a family’s heart desires.

Joshua the adventurer

Joshua prefers to spend his holidays with his family at the camping site, where he can run around freely with his brother Lou and play football on the large field. His soft toys are essential companions, and of course they all spend the night with Joshua in the Chalet Confort.

The camping site is huge and has lots of cool things to discover
That was Joshua’s summary on arriving at the camping site

Centre de vacances de Tariche, Saint-Ursanne

The Centre de vacances de Tariche is located directly on the river Le Doubs. You can either pitch your own tent, park your camper in the meadow, rent a chalet for the family or stay in a hotel room. If you don’t want to cook for yourself at one of the barbecue stations, you can also eat at the Restaurant de Tariche, right next to the camping site. The medieval village of St Ursanne can be reached on foot through the nature reserve.

More info

Soccer, hide-and-seek, card games and stone skipping

The boys enjoy a game of soccer on the large playing field at the camping site. The two of them go wild, kicking the ball all over the camping site until it lands in the river. The many trees and bushes are perfect for playing hide-and-seek. As a little downtime, Joshua and Lou play cards with their parents before their dad teaches the boys how to skip stones.

Barbecue

In preparation for grilling the sausages and cooking the twist bread, the boys first built a fire together with their mum. Once the fire had caught light, Lou and Joshua went in search of wooden sticks to hold the twist bread and skewer the sausages. Afterwards, the whole family prepared the salads together and enjoyed dinner on the terrace.

Excursion to Saint-Ursanne

On the last day before their departure, the family took a trip to the picturesque village of Saint-Ursanne , which has held the title of “Best Tourism Village” since summer 2023. After a short exploration of the town, the family enjoyed their last lunch of the holiday in the Jura, which of course included ice cream for dessert.
