Thomas and Christian, enthusiastic racing cyclists and long-time friends, have decided to take on the challenge of the Albula Pass together. Their adventure begins in the historic old town of Chur, where they start their journey in an atmosphere of great anticipation. While every kilometre they cover puts their bikes to the test, their shared passion for road cycling and love for the unspoilt natural environment further strengthens the bond of their friendship.

Hotel Chur
Thomas and Christian saddle up for their road bike tour at the Hotel Chur, where the picturesque old town of Chur welcomes them. The raise a glass on the hotel terrace as a toast to the unique atmosphere. Boasting a central location close to the majestic River Rhine, the hotel is the perfect starting point for their adventure.
The next morning, the two cyclists are treated to a hearty breakfast at the Hotel Chur and pick up their packed lunches.
Start of the road bike tour
The road bike tour takes Thomas and Christian from Chur to Tiefencastel, with beautiful scenery all the way. They witness the transition from urban to rural conditions and have the opportunity to refill their drinking bottles with fresh water at a well.
Arriving at the top of the Albula Pass
The challenging ascent to the Albula Pass lies ahead. The cyclists negotiate the demanding hairpin bends in bravura style.
Once at the top, at the highest point of the Albula Pass, Thomas and Christian reap the reward for their efforts. The sweeping views of the majestic Alpine peaks are simply overwhelming. The fresh mountain air and tranquil natural surroundings are a welcome reward for the challenge they have completed.

Having conquered the Albula Pass, Thomas and Christian reach the enchanting village of La Punt. They take in the charm and beauty of the picturesque village and impressive collection of traditional Engadine architecture.
