On the Fluonalp, one of the loveliest Giswil Alps, cows not only have sweeping views but the pick of delicious herbs.
No wonder Alpine cheese is so tasty! And in the Fluonalp cheese-making dairy over 2000 litres of milk are processed daily: spicy Sprinz, Alp and goat cheese along with delicious butter (Ankä) are the results - the recipes for which are a secret! Those who wish to are welcome to visit the dairy, and on prior notice have the chance to make their own 12-kilo heavy round of cheese.
Both big and small delight in the beautiful views - and even more so in the tasty Fluonalp & Giswil-style treats served at the cosy alpine catering establishment. The Fluonalp is both a popular start and finishing point for refreshing hiking and biking tours as well.
