The Blonay-Chamby museum railway, run exclusively by volunteers, operates vintage steam and electric meter gauge stock.
The Blonay-Chamby museum railway, run exclusively by volunteers, operates vintage steam and electric meter gauge stock.
Leaving from Blonay (large parking and railway connection available) the line steeply curves up into a valley, crosses a viaduct, runs through a tunnel and overlooks lake Geneva before arriving at Chamby after a true mountain railway ride.
From there, the same train will run back to the museum-shed, where you can admire more vintage equipment, view our repair facilities, browse in the souvenir shop and enjoy our Le Panoramic café and restaurant.
