Astona Serenade at Sonnenberg in Baar
The 38th Astona International Summer Music Academy for highly gifted young musicians, selected according to strict criteria, will take place from July 18 to August 1, 2026, at Sonnenberg in Baar. There will be 32 string players and 1 pianist, aged 13 to 26 and representing 23 different nationalities, who will receive instruction in solo, ensemble, and orchestral performance from 8 faculty members from 6 countries. During 5 concerts, the young talents will have the opportunity to perform solo works, in chamber music groups, and with the Astona Orchestra. The programs will be developed during the academy and finalized at short notice.
This marks the 12th performance by young talents in Baar!
