Materiality and Tectonics," curated by Franz Graf with Britta Buzzi, Carlo Dusi, Alessandro Bonizzoni and Sebastiano Verga, offers a rereading of more than fifty years of architecture in Ticino through one hundred buildings selected for their interest from the point of view of construction. The exhibition project stems from the 20-year research work developed within the Construction and Technology area of the USI Academy of Architecture. In particular, the exhibition delves into twelve works represented by publications with critical texts, testimonials and dedicated study contributions.
A selection of models, some reports by Radiotelevisione della Svizzera Italiana (RSI) and a series of photographs made by Roberto Conte in 2025 complete the exhibition.
