Intro

For its 20th edition, BDFIL is putting on an exceptional programme, with 16 exhibitions to be discovered in the heart of Lausanne.

The programme includes a carte blanche by Simon Beuret, a heroic exhibition devoted to the "Loup en slip", a presentation of original plates from the collection of the City of Lausanne's Comic Strip Centre, an exhibition on the publishing profession and a commissioned project inspired by the work of Félix Vallotton. These are just a few examples of the richness and diversity of contemporary and heritage comics.Exhibitions, animated weekends, meetings and festive evenings punctuate this anniversary edition, inviting the public to explore comics in all their forms, in a friendly and festive atmosphere. The festival is taking place in the railway station district of Lausanne, with three main hubs: La Rasude, Plateforme 10 and La Maison de Quartier Sous-Gare. There are three guest exhibitions at Pyxis, and an open-air exhibition in the Parc de Milan.AccessFridays: free admission.Saturdays and Sundays: admission fee applies.
