«Heidi» (1952) Film classic with live orchestra
Experience the most poetic Swiss film classic of all time as a unique live concert: The Graubünden Chamber Philharmonic performs Robert Blum’s iconic original film score live to accompany the 1952 black-and-white masterpiece on the big screen. Just in time for the 200th anniversary of Johanna Spyri’s birth, this deeply moving production celebrates its world premiere. The live music, newly arranged specifically for this event by Swiss composer Raban Brunner, blends perfectly with the touching story of Heidi, her Alpine grandfather, and their journey from the mountains of Graubünden to Frankfurt.
