Exposition temporaire

À la charnière des XIXe et XXe siècles, Charles-Henri Meylan s’impose comme l’un des horlogers les plus brillants de son temps. Formé en Europe et actif aux États-Unis, il signe des pièces d’une complexité remarquable avant de fonder sa manufacture au Brassus en 1888. Si son nom a peu à peu disparu au profit des grandes maisons, son parcours incarne celui de toute une génération d’artisans de génie. Cette exposition propose de remettre en lumière son œuvre et sa contribution majeure à l’histoire horlogère.
