Double Sens – Trans-Classics I
Overview
Intro
Today's Music with works by Ludwig van Beethoven (arr. Nemanja Radulović) and Nikolai Rimski-Korsakov (arr. Aleksandar Sedlar) as well as a selection from the album "Roots" by announcement.
“Menuhin’s Heritage Artist” down to his fingertips, quite literally! Known for his profound reverence for musical tradition, yet consistently fueled by the same curiosity for the unknown that Yehudi Menuhin embodied: the French-Serbian violinist Nemanja Radulović is nothing short of a fascinating artist. Once again, Radulović is making his way to the Saanenland, this time accompanied by the Ensemble Double Sens, a group he founded in 2008. Vibrant, intense, an awe-inspiring tribute to the present moment – the programmes curated by Nemanja Radulović are a marvel: from Beethoven’s “expanded” “Kreutzer Sonata” to the “reduced” Scheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov, here we embark on a musical odyssey, exploring the endless possibilities of sound – a true journey for the ears!
