Grrrls
Overview

Those little arseholes have struck again! They’ve just locked Fritzi up in the old school garage for no reason. Even Fritzi’s secret crush, Sven, went along with it. What a rubbish 11th birthday.
Those little arseholes have struck
again! They’ve just locked Fritzi up in the old school garage for no reason.
Even Fritzi’s secret crush, Sven, went along with it. What a rubbish
11th birthday. Thank goodness Fritzi’s favourite granny, Luzy, has a plan! Off they go
in the old Volvo on a wild road trip. At a motorway service station,
they meet the young Nowak, a mysterious hitchhiker who’s so completely different
from Fritzi and Luzy: a proper riot grrrl. ‘Grrrls’ is a mad
coming-of-age adventure. A petrol station is raided, songs are belted out,
voyeurs are chased out of the ladies’ loo, and right in the middle of it all is Fritzi, who’s a bit
in love with Sven and the daughter of a stunning model mum who’s never
around. In short: a modern-day girl who’s still drifting, somewhat lost, in a sea of
possibilities. An energetic three-woman play about family, courage
and empowerment.
