Intro

Die Ausstellung thematisiert verschiedene Aspekte der Macht des Kollektivs.

McClane ist ein Künstlerduo aus der Bretagne, das aus Julia Crinon und Hugo Marchal besteht.

Ihre Reflexionsthemen drehen sich um den Platz des Politischen im Alltag. Sie versuchen zu verstehen, wie Herrschaftssysteme das empfindliche Individuum und seine Umgebung belasten.

Für die Ausstellung "Collective Support" präsentieren sie eine Reihe von Malereien auf Stoffen. Diese Bilder thematisieren verschiedene Aspekte der Macht des Kollektivs. Darstellungen von Kämpfen, aber auch von gegenseitiger Unterstützung, Hilfe, Fürsorge, Solidarität und Autonomie treten in einen Dialog. Diese Bilder sind in ihren jüngsten künstlerischen Untersuchungen verankert, aber auch in den Fragen, die ihren Aktivismus durchziehen.
