NOVA
Overview
Intro
music. images. cosmos.
The band—featuring Christian Zatta, Florian Hoesl, Thomas Tavano, and Sacha Schwarz—explores the themes of space, time, and science fiction through music. In their music, planets, stars, galaxies, and the infinite expanses of the universe become audible and tangible. The compositions tell stories about the fascinating phenomena of astronomy and the visionary ideas of science fiction. The live music is accompanied by custom-designed visuals and lighting effects that enhance and deepen the performance in real time. In recent years, NOVA has enjoyed national and international success with concerts in several countries, sold-out shows at planetariums, clubs, and concert halls, as well as collaborations with orchestras. Here, art, music, and science are brought together in an unusual and impressive way.
