Cello star Sol Gabetta returns to Lugano in 2024. She will be at the LAC in mid-May for the third edi-tion of the Pentecost"Presenza"Festival.
Cello star Sol Gabetta returns to Lugano in 2024. She will be at the LAC in mid-May for the third edi-tion of the Pentecost"Presenza"Festival. The big project sees her starring on 17 and 18 May in two spectacular symphonic concerts featuring Prokof'ev, Sibelius and Šostakovic, together with the Or-chestra della Svizzera italiana, OSI principal conductor Markus Poschner, and the imaginative violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja. There will also be the world premiere of a piece by Kopatchinskaja (PatKop) specially commissioned by the OSI.
