Intro
The 39th Stanserhorn Mountain Run is a breathtaking challenge.
On Sunday, July 5, 2026, the Stanserhorn will once again belong to mountain runners: For the 39th time, the traditional Stanserhorn mountain run will attract sports enthusiasts to Stans' local mountain.
The mountain run is organized by the Stans Ski Club. The starting signal for this exciting race is given punctually at 09:00, when the runners are ready to face the steep climbs and challenging trails. Non-runners are welcome at the summit to give the runners a big round of applause as they cross the finish line from 10.00 am. The ranking announcement follows at 12.30 pm.
Route:
Start: Stans village square (452 m above sea level)
Finish: Stanserhorn (1,868 m above sea level)
Route length: 10.9 km / difference in altitude: 1,416 m
