Thunerseespiele - GREASE
Intro
From July 8 to August 22, 2026, the Thunerseespiele will present GREASE, one of the most successful musicals of all time, for the first time as an open-air musical in Switzerland.
Rock'n'roll, rebellion and romance, restaged in the unique natural setting of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau - a good mood is guaranteed!
With legendary songs in the original English such as "Greased Lightnin'", "Summer Nights", "Hopelessly Devoted to You" and "You're the One That I Want", GREASE delivers a firework display of nostalgia, humor and joie de vivre. A lively mix of 50s flair, dance, tempo and teenage dreams - a musical that inspires generations and gets the stands shaking!
Enjoy exclusive insights behind the scenes on a backstage tour, start your visit to the musical with one of our menus in the musical garden (self-service) or book the 3-course menu in the musical restaurant and treat yourself to a unique experience on the shores of Lake Thun.
