As usual, the winegrowers of the Valais open their doors to you over the Ascension weekend to show you their new vintage.
In the Sierre region, countless wineries look forward to welcoming you. To make your visit even more enjoyable, the “Les Coteaux de Sierre” Association offers you the chance to get around safely thanks to free shuttle buses serving more than 25 wineries in the region.
With 1,200 hectares of vineyards and over 40 different grape varieties, the “Les Coteaux de Sierre” appellation is Switzerland’s largest AOC. There’s no better way to discover this beautiful wine-growing region than through the Valais Open Cellars event.
