Intro

Magnificent views across Lake Zurich and the Ricken all the way to Pilatus await Tobogganists at Atzmännig. This should be enjoyed first – because the downhill ride gets quite twisty, leading through forests, across meadows and over a few rollers.

Description

Atzmännig leisure park is mostly known for Switzerland’s first summer toboggan run. But it’s also well worth a visit in winter. The pleasant 2-seater chair lift takes visitors up to Atzmännig mountain station. From there, they can enjoy panoramic views over Lake Zurich, the hills of the Goldingen Valley and the Ricken. Pilatus, Glärnisch, Mürtschenstock and Churfirsten can be seen in the distance.

The rather short but fast descending toboggan run starts only a few steps from the mountain station. The curvy track first leads through forest before it winds its way over snowy meadows and several rollers down to the valley.

A gliding section rounds off the thrilling downhill run before the toboggan comes to a halt at the chair lift’s valley station.

An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
