Fideriser-Heuberge-Schlittelweg
Overview
Intro
The ski area is small and generally offers good snow conditions throughout the season. The sledding trails are among the best: It is with 11 kilometers one of the longest sledding runs in Switzerland.
Description
The Fideriser Heuberge offer leisurely winter fun without any hectic. Only vans operated by the resort offer rides to the hotel and to the starting point at 2000 meters above sea level. The road is closed to the public.
Therefore safe sledding is possible at all times. Every day the winding road to Fideris Dorf is exclusively open for sledders between 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm.
There is reliable snow cover on top of the mountain because of the high altitude. Farther down the trail is shaded and leads through open woods. This ensures snow cover to the village all season long. Man-made snow enables sledding on the famous last hill across the village meadow all the way to the church.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
