Intro
The trails leads from Sennhütten to Cheisacherturm viewpoint, with amazing views in every direction, and then on via Bürersteig Höhe and Laubberg to Mettau.
Description
After leaving Sennhütten, where you can stay the night at the end of stage 4, the trail takes you to Ampferenhöhe. Following a short section in the forest, you climb up to the Sternwarte (astronomy observatory) and the Sulz district viewpoint of Cheisacher. The Cheisacherturm offers 360-degree panoramas of the forest-covered Jura, the village of Sulz and the Black Forest. The trail then continues through the forest along the crest of the Cheisacher and on towards Bürersteig-Höhe pass, where there’s a bus to Laufenburg or Brugg. Once you get to Laubberg, the trail follows the crest between the settlements of Oberhofen und Wil down into Mettauertal Valley and Mettau.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
