Well-known bike tour through high alpine terrain. The tour is designed as an outstanding two-day tour with an overnight in the «Keschhütte» (mountain lodge).
Description
From Davos you pass through the beautiful Dischmatal to Dürrboden. Here begins what is sometimes a steep climb to the old mule track and then onto the ScalettapassFor experienced mountain bikers, the pass is 80-90% rideableThrough high-altitude Val Funtauna you follow the single trail, which is mainly easy to ride. This becomes very steep in the final part, up to the Keschhütte.
The modern SAC-lodge is even equipped with Scandinavian-style duvets, an invitation to really unwind. The stunning panorama offers a view over glaciers and mountains. The descent through Val Tuors to Bergun is brisk. From Filisur back to Davos, the true highlights are crossing the 80-metre-high Wiesner Viaduct and the mountain path with a view of the steep Zügen Gorge.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
