Valorsch Bike
Overview
Intro
This medium/difficult bike tour takes you through the romantic Valorschtal valley around Schönberg, to the Liechtenstein mountain village of Malbun. This village is located at 1,600 meters above sea level, and was already one of the stages on the Tour de Suisse.
Description
Three mountain streams provide a framework for the Valorsch tour. From Steg, the route initially heads eastwards along the Malbunbach towards Malbun. It then continues uphill to Sassförkle. This is the highest point of the tour, and the descent begins.
A single trail winds its way down to Güschglehötta. There, an easily rideable gravel road begins, following the Valorschbach in a north-westerly direction.
Through hilly terrain, the route finally heads south along the Saminabach back to the Walser cottage settlement of Steg.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
