Intro
It’s well worth exploring the new forest adventure trail in the Bannholz/Iraggell area in Vaduz in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Forest walkers can choose from two routes with a total of 40 information panels to discover and experience. Both trails start from the Vaduz forest hotel. The shorter route is 2 kilometres in length and is also accessible for families with buggies.
The second route is 6.4 kilometres long and has a newly built viewing platform on the Letzi. This platform affords a wonderful panoramic view over the Rhine Valley.
The focus of the forest adventure trail is not just on providing comprehensive information about forest management, beneficial insects and pests, the local fauna, and conflicts of use, but above all on bringing the forest to life with all of the senses. That’s why the trail includes balancing challenges, a show beehive, lounging options and a long jump. We have deliberately chosen to avoid any digital elements.
