For centuries Graubünden and Vorarlberg have imported wine from Valtellina One of the mule traders’ routes runs from Valtellina via Davos to Montafon.
The historic route has experienced a renaissance as Via Valtellina, an attractive long distance hiking trail. World famous vacation destinations such as Schruns, Klosters, Davos or Pontresina vie for attention with lonely side valleys like the Schlappin-Valley or the Val Funtauna.
