You start in the evening and follow the picturesque Toggenburg Heights Trail, while the glowing full moon illuminates the path. The twinkling lights of the villages deep in the valley accompany you from afar, while the starry sky stretches out above us. Along the way, you listen to the stories of the hiking guide, who provides you with fascinating insights into the nature and culture of this unique region. After a strengthening stop at the mountain inn Oberchäseren, where you enjoy a warming soup, you continue the ascent. The higher you go, the more intensely you feel the tranquility of the night – until you finally reach the summit of the Speer (1,950 m). Just in time to experience how the sky slowly changes color, the first rays of light bring the mountain peaks to glow, and the world below comes to life.
